Window Shopping, 2002
Curator Larry Walczak invited artists to create works to be displayed in the store windows in his neigborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
In this challenge, I created an editorial review of the trendy Bedford Avenue boutique Spatial, Etc., for the imagined glossy magazine ‘Williamsburg Loft’. The editorial ‘tear sheet’ was placed, placard style, in the store window. The intent was to draw subtle attention to the boutique, while not interfering with its window display and cool designer aesthetic
